SPECTRAL ANALYSIS OF THE PIPE ORGAN

I had the opportunity to be taken on an exclusive tour through a church by a pipe organ repairman named Richard. Through this tour, he educated me on pipe organ history, pipe organ construction, and showed me all the different rooms that corresponded to the organ and how they all came together to contribute to the instrument. He allowed me to sit in front of the organ and record a handful of tones, which I later analyzed using Izotope RX 7. These tones revealed frequencies that would allow me to understand how an organ sound is constructed, therefore having the opportunity to reconstruct it! I used FM8, Massive, MAX/MSP's BEAP, and the Eurorack to recreate pipe organ tones. Below you can find my research paper and screenshots of my process.
