I found an autoharp on top of a trashcan and took it home. I recorded it with a pair of Neumann KM184 small condenser microphones. By the end of my recording session, I had multiple audio files of button presses, string scratching, and plucks that I later imported and edited using Kontakt by Native Instruments. I keymapped, round robined, and organized the patches according to velocity for high-quality playback. Once I finished making all my instruments, I produced and mixed a demo in Ableton Live which is available to listen to down below!
